Industrial Control Systems, Inc. (ICS) provides comprehensive engineering design and drafting services for industrial automation projects across the United States. Our engineering team creates detailed, accurate documentation that serves as the foundation for every successful automation project, from initial concept through commissioning and beyond.
Our engineers produce complete electrical design packages using AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN. Every project includes single-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, panel layout drawings, wiring diagrams, interconnection drawings, I/O lists, and bill of materials. We follow NFPA 79 and NEC standards to ensure all designs meet code requirements and pass inspection on the first review.
We design UL 508A-compliant control panels with detailed layout drawings that optimize component placement for thermal management, serviceability, and wire routing. Our panel designs include door layout drawings, backplate arrangements, component specifications, and detailed wiring schedules. Every panel design undergoes internal review before fabrication begins in our in-house shop.
ICS creates and updates Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) that accurately reflect your process systems. We document instrument specifications, control valve data sheets, and loop diagrams that your operations and maintenance teams rely on for day-to-day troubleshooting and long-term planning.
After commissioning, we update all project drawings to reflect as-built conditions. This includes redlined corrections to electrical schematics, updated I/O lists, finalized network architecture diagrams, and revised panel layouts. Complete documentation packages are delivered in both hard copy and digital format for your engineering and maintenance records.
Our engineering design services support food and beverage processing, pet food manufacturing, building materials, cement and aggregate, chemical processing, water and wastewater treatment, and oil and gas operations. We understand the industry-specific standards and documentation requirements for each sector.
