Project Overview

The integration of Rice Line 4 was a crucial step toward ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity in Ajinomoto’s rice production process. By integrating ICS’s programs and equipment with other OEM equipment, the entire production process was streamlined to produce high-quality, sellable rice products.

Controls & Hardware

The project involved the installation of two main control cabinets, each equipped with 10 secondary cabinets for I/O, AOB devices, and HMIs. The line is primarily controlled by Allen Bradley components with FactoryTalk SE serving as the HMI platform.

Results

With Rice Line 4 operational, Ajinomoto can now produce rice products more efficiently while maintaining consistent quality standards, supporting their goal of becoming a leading producer of high-quality rice products.
